At the tip of Arvert peninsula, on the famous Marennes-Oléron bay, our historic stone house newly renovated proposes a real nice place to relax year round in the middle of pine woods a few feets away from the ocean. We reserved the top floor and the best view of our house as your private comfortable and quiet suite with private bathroom and toilets. You will love its secluded location and unique setting in the old style beach resort of Ronce les Bains, enjoy the privacy of our beautiful garden, Leontine's homemade french breakfast and treats served on the terrace or by the fire place. We welcome you in a warm bilingual Franco-English atmosphere and we also speak some Spanish and German.
Children age 8 and up are welcome.
On your request you may ask for :
- private boat tours on the bay and the islands with your host as captain

Air, forests and sand provide a full inventory of sports and leisure activities. La Coubre 6000 hectares of protected forest stretches along the ocean from Ronce les Bains to La Palmyre. You will enjoy 25 km of wild sanded beaches, 200 km of cycling, hiking and horseback riding tracks, and go for birdswatching in the marshes. Cordouan and La Coubre legendary lighthouses, Jardins du Monde park, La Palmyre Zoo, The Aquarium of La Rochelle are worth seeing and you can tour the nearby islands : Oléron, Madame, Aix, Ré... or follow the oyster road from Saujon to Ronce-les-Bains with stop overs in the oyster farming villages of the Seudre...
